It is very good at tweaking records it usually cant touch, like I said above about the scripts etc, so you can usually edit existing stuff, but never having actually done that I couldn't tell you and I would strongly recommend making sure you test the modded quest VERY throughly before depending on it. If you are just editing basic quest stuff then you might be able to use tes5edit. Technically you can do worldspace editing but it doesn't have an actual editor, its all the technical data so where an object is in the world is displayed in tes5edit by its co-ordinates. It also can't do navmesh or worldspace edit stuff and you should never try and edit a navmesh with tes5edit. HOWEVER, Tes5edit can't work with script creation or edits, it can copy scripts over and add in existing script data, but can't make new ones. The relevant smithing perks are necessary in order to craft certain barding sets. Barding can be crafted at forges or purchased at stables and then upgraded and enchanted just like any other armor. #Creation kit skyrim how to edit horse saddle mod#Unlike the CK Tes5edit also has no risk of accidental ITMs or UDRs, no risk of corruption and no wild edits as you can actually view all of the records included in your esp without interfearance from others. In fact tes5edit is such a powerful modding tool that parts of Immersive Horses were done in tes5edit because it allows you to edit parts of the game that the CK has locked off for no reason at all, or that are very hard or buggy to get to in the CK. I make all of my mods in tes5edit which range from weather mods, adding in armors and weapons, levelled lists, npc editing, stat adjustment, editing perk tress, spell power and effects, adding in new enchantments and then adding those enchantments to weapons, it can edit dialouge and discussion branches as well as edit music and ambiance themes and even more then what I have listed here, this is just what I myself have actually edited.
